fewer, fewest
1) Местоимение fewer является формой сравнительной степени местоимения few, а местоимение fewest - формой превосходной степени этого же местоимения.
2) Fewer и fewest (как и few) сочетаются с формой множественного числа существительных (исчисляемых: см. Countable and uncountable nouns).

John made fewer mistakes than Mary. — Джон сделал меньше ошибок, чем Мэри.

I will explain the matter in the fewest words. — Я объясню в двух словах, в чем дело.

3) Fewest обычно употребляется с определенным артиклем.

There are the fewest mosquitoes in this room. — В этой комнате меньше всего комаров.
